I'm playing with only INTERTOPS on this one. The brackets are really wide, and I'll be able to get better odds (+).

<TABLE class=spof cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 align=center border=0><TBODY class=blacknews><TR class=blackbig><TD align=left colSpan=3>Box Office Opening Weekend Gross: THE INCREDIBLES </TD></TR><TR class=burgundynews><TD align=left colSpan=3>3-day week from Friday, November 5th through Sunday, November 7th.

U.S. & Canada box office sales only.
</TD></TR><TR class=blackbig><TD align=left>Option</TD><TD align=middle>Win Odds</TD><TD align=middle></TD></TR><TR class=blacknews><TD>USD 55 million to 77 million</TD><TD noWrap align=middle>+120</TD><TD align=right></TD><TR class=blacknews><TD>USD 70 million to 85 million</TD><TD noWrap align=middle>+120</TD><TD align=right></TD><TR class=blacknews><TD>USD 85 million or more</TD><TD noWrap align=middle>+245</TD><TD align=right></TD><TR class=blacknews><TD>USD 55 million or less</TD><TD noWrap align=middle>+400</TD><TD align=right></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Now I just have to make up my mind on what bracket to pick to win the big jackpot.

85 million or more..... now +260

If you take Finding Nemo's 71 million... then add the extra 560 theaters The Incredibles has going for it... it's a great value play.

:biggrinin

And it noted a higher-than-normal tendency for people to buy groups of four or five tickets, suggesting that families are planning group outings to theaters this weekend.

Beyond just families, "Incredibles" is expected to pull in a broad four-quadrant aud. Viane said about 250 exhibs had informed him that they would be running midnight shows tonight"

I'm a little nervous now...

didn't realize Shrek 2 was coming out on DVD today... hope this doesn't affect the Incredibles.

"LOS ANGELES - Tales of a family of superheroes and a green ogre are expected to dominate U.S. entertainment this week with the Friday releases of "Shrek 2" on DVD and video and "The Incredibles" in theaters.

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. said there was no battle between Shrek and Pixar Animation Studio Inc's, and investors recently have boosted shares in both companies on anticipation they would be blockbusters.

DreamWorks set its "Shrek 2" DVD release for a Friday rather than a customary Tuesday to avoid being overshadowed by another national drama -- the presidential election, a spokeswoman for the studio said." :blowup1:
